Police are looking into a planned protest against the Victoria and NSW border closure in Wodonga on Friday morning.

A social media post has urged people to gather at Gateway Lakes at 10am on Friday before walking across to NSW.
Police became aware of the event on Tuesday and are working to contact the organiser to see how they plan to run it.
The post states the event will run from 10am but the origin can't be verified.
"The closure of our border is hurting families, ruining businesses and damaging our society," it reads.
"The time has come for us the people of Australia to stand together and let our government know we will not be divided."

Wodonga Senior Sergeant Chris Parr said the gathering was being investigated by police.
"We're working to ascertain how it's intended to run and how they intend to adhere to COVID-19 regulations," he said.
"The organisers need to have a plan and need to have a safe environment.
"Social distancing will be a very high priority for us.
"We will be policing it quite strongly.
"Although we recognise people are frustrated, we don't want the border to become an issue and for people in the bubble to be impacted by other people's actions."
Crossing the causeway bridge into Albury would require individual permits from protesters.
Police continue to man vehicle checkpoints, and a bicycle and foot traffic checkpoint, on the NSW side of the river.
Those in Wodonga and other regional areas face far fewer restrictions than those in Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire.
Senior Sergeant Parr said police had been "really pleased" by residents in the Wodonga region in adhering to the restrictions.
"In the last eight weeks we haven't spoken to a local doing the wrong thing," he said.
"It's all been people coming into our community from restricted areas.
"The local people have been brilliant."
