Fairfax Regional Media today launches ConnectPink - a new social media network for women in regional and remote Australia.
Featuring the best from traditional social media sites, connectpink.com.au allows women to do more than simply post updates.
"ConnectPink is a more personal alternative," said ConnectPink content director Angela Carey.
"It's a place where women can connect, chat, shop, swap and share in an environment that is safe and gives them a real sense of belonging."

With the site now live, women are encouraged to get on board and sign up for a ConnectPink account.
It's free and easy to use. To give you an idea of the type of online community ConnectPink is, you will be asked if you would like to make a donation to its partner charity, the McGrath Foundation.
Your donation will support the work of the McGrath Foundation, which is working to provide specialist breast care nurses across the country for women affected by breast cancer.

Owned and operated by Fairfax Regional Media, the launch of ConnectPink has been a labour of love for the company.
Tell your mum, friends, sisters, cousins, aunties, colleagues, nieces, daughters and granddaughters to visit connectpink.com.au and get connected today!
