Police have questioned a man over an alleged sexual assault following a North East football club's grand final celebrations.
A 26-year-old woman recently told police she became unwell after drinking a glass of orange juice, was taken to a bedroom, and woke the next day with injuries consistent with being sexually assaulted.
A man was recently arrested, questioned and released without charge, and Detective Sergeant Cliff Hyndman said further arrests were expected.
