"It's a huge relief and we're so grateful to NSW Health for seeing how important this issue was for us and to allow us to be able to provide medical care to the community of Rutherglen," Ms Mann said.
"I was very concerned it wouldn't happen because I was talking to different people each day and they were saying 'this will be coming through' and then nothing came through."
Usual service returns Monday with Dr Michael Love on-site and visits to aged care residents to resume.
Rutherglen resident and former Indigo Shire councillor Roberta Horne said it had been an anxious time.
"We have a very high ageing population in Rutherglen and it was just absolutely bizarre, particularly as we haven't had any various outbreaks in our region it seemed a bit over the top," Ms Horne said.
"It has been a great worry for the residents."
Rutherglen is outside the designated blue zone for travel between NSW and Victorian border areas via pre-existing permits.
Ms Mann said the clinic had been given specific conditions and they required the doctors to be travelling to Rutherglen purely for work.
