With the annual National Tree Day event cancelled due to COVID-19, the school was able to arrange students to plant seedlings within its grounds.
The school's tree day saw foundation students pair up with year 5 buddies to add to the hedge line started by last year's cohort.

Year 2 pupils also planted natives in the college's sustainable learning area, with assistance from those in the VCAL program.
"Normally we would have parents helping on site but we weren't able to this year because of COVID," Victory's Libby M'Crystal said.
"We were a bit more restricted in it being a community event, but, for the younger students, it was really great to promote the importance of planting trees and the difference it can make to the environment and our community."
Mrs M'Crystal said it created a huge buzz for the students given the school had been forced to cancel a number of events this year.
