An inmate who used a prison phone call to breach an intervention order has been fined.

William Drew made the call from the Melbourne Assessment Prison last July, despite the victim taking out an order two days earlier.
Drew, who is now on parole after his release in May, was fined $800 in Wodonga court on Tuesday.
"You've got a long history of doing whatever you like, whenever you like," Magistrate Ian Watkins said.
