Parliament is set to contest the $50,000 Benchmark 70, Hcp, (2400m) with apprentice jockey Thomas Stockdale booked to ride.
The six-year-old gelding has been allocated top-weight of 62.5kg but will carry 60.5kg after Stockdale's claim.
Parliament proved he could lump big weights after winning at Wodonga at his most recent start.
