Offender released from jail amid coronavirus delay
A man involved in two minor assaults has been released after 40 days in prison.

Jothan Tavis Willis, Wodonga court heard on Tuesday, spent more time locked up that he normally would due to COVID-19.
He was caught driving unlicensed in Wodonga last Christmas Eve, and was involved in scuffles with his ex-partner in the city on February 15 and 19.
The court heard he had gone into lockdown after his bail was revoked.
Magistrate Ian Watkins ordered his release.
