IN OTHER CORONAVIRUS NEWS:
Police spoke to a 75-year-old man on Wednesday following the incident.
He has not been charged and police continue to investigate the matter.
"Police have someone assisting us with our enquiries," Sergeant Gavin Duncan said.
"We would appeal for people to contact the Police Assistance Line and not take matters into their own hands.
"These incidents are fairly isolated.
"People do have heightened emotions about this topic.
"We're just appealing for calm and for people to be rational and understanding if you come across someone you think is not doing the right thing.
"Taking things into your own hands is always a recipe for disaster."
The police assistance line is on 131 444.
