Emergency services are mopping up after a truck carrying almost 50,000 litres of milk crashed outside of Corowa on Friday night.

The B-double refrigerated milk tanker was travelling north on Freyers Road, near Corowa, when it was reported to have left the road about 10.15pm on Friday, and slid into a table drain.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The truck spilled 12,000 of its 48,000 litres of milk as a result.
The 63-year-old man driving the truck wasn't injured in the crash.
Officers attached to the Murray River Police District attended the scene and commenced inquiries, and a vehicle defect notice was issued for the truck and two trailers.
