Kiewa Valley Primary School remains open to kids of critical workers, but several employees who are NSW residents are unable to cross the border to work on the Victorian side.
The Victorian Department of Education is working with the NSW government to ensure school staff and students who live in NSW can continue to attend school in Victoria.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Students and staff who live in NSW and attend school in Victoria have been using a permit to cross the border," a department spokesperson said.
"Most staff and students are now working from home as part of remote learning.
"The department priority is to ensure that any changes in the permit system continue to allow staff and students to attend schools in Victoria, once a return to on-site learning resumes."
Kiewa Valley Primary School was contacted for comment.
