The rain held off just in time to see 20 teams from under-13's to premier men and women hit pitches in Albury on Saturday.
A number of new faces joined the ranks for the first time, while some of the league's most talented players were also present.

The competition was played in a non-club based hockey 8's format.
The newly formed structure saw several entertaining rivalries, with former teammates becoming opposition as they went head-to-head.
Keen hockey players north of the Border finally got their sport fix, however, players from Victoria were not eligible to compete due to imposing COVID-19 restrictions and the subsequent border closure.
The announcement was made last month that there would be no Hockey Albury-Wodonga season as we previously knew it due to the coronavirus.
The competition will be played again this Saturday, with places still available in teams for NSW players.
