The man, aged in his 20s, was working on the Beechworth Secondary College development on Thursday morning.
He fell from a large height about 9.30am and received serious upper body and head injuries.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Paramedics attended and took the man to the Wangaratta Airport.
He was flown to the Alfred Hospital in a critical condition, which remained stable on Friday.
