Out & About in our border region gives you lots of fun and interesting things to see and do this spring

Out Now: Look out for the Out & About spring 2020 edition.
SPRING is the time Mother Nature celebrates the rebirth of all things - birds, plants and the seasons in particular.

Annual twitterings: Our annual display of cheerful and cheeky birds at the Wonga Wetlands says Spring like nothing else. A leisurely meander with the family is in order.
In our beautiful border cities of Albury and Wodonga, plus the regional towns close by, the bold and brassy colours of the gardens burst forth and mix it with the golden dazzle of wattle, wild flowers bloom after the winter rains and every weather season appears to happen, in the one day!
Want to check out all the fabulously interesting things to see and do this season? Catch up on the good read, as well as the supportive tourism businesses in our area, by clicking on the Spring Out & About e-edition here.

STUNNING ICON: The Monument Hill War Memorial area is now open to pedestrians and vehicles to enjoy the amazing views. At night you can appreciate the spectacular sights as the light on top of the War Memorial has also been switched back on.
So while it's liberating to throw off the winter layers and step out to renew acquaintances with all that the region has to offer, do keep the scarf and cardy handy - you just never know when you might need to spend the afternoon cosied up in a local cafe, or eatery. It won't really be a hardship though, as we have some beauties here.
So rain, hail and shine, enjoy a latte, wine or a cuppa, shop in the gorgeous fashion boutiques with their bright new palette of colours in their windows, and ferret out all there is on offer.

Beechworth Bakery: Check out the interesting activities offered at the Bakery, enjoy a tea or coffee, and peruse the many different products in the complex.
This spring edition of Out & About is packed with information about places to go, things to see and do.
Enjoy your time with us, ensured of a warm welcome, and take sensible precautions to stay safe.
