The loss means the Ostriches will play Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong in Sunday's elimination final at Wagga's Robertson Oval.
Defender Sally Hunter was outstanding in the loss while Georgia O'Connell and Maddy Tyson also played well.
"It was a really tight game but unfortunately we couldn't quite get there," coach Liza Gooden said.
"We're looking forward to seeing how we go in the finals.
"It will be another tight game."
Osborne is the only club in the competition to make the finals in each grade with its A, A Reserve, B, C and under-17 teams finishing in the top four.
In other A grade matches, MCUE thrashed Leeton-Whitton 77-13 and the Lions comfortably defeated Turvey Park 72-35.
Osborne defeated Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong 42-24 when the teams clashed earlier this month.
