Joseph Thomsen and Bronwen O'Shea have taken redundancies from the public broadcaster and will no longer work at the Wodonga studios.
Thomsen began at ABC Goulburn Murray in 2005 and has been the breakfast and mornings announcer over that period.
He regularly hosted studio debates during federal and state elections and was an anchor for joint poll forums with The Border Mail.
Thomsen originally hails from Lismore in northern NSW where he began on-air at a community station as a 15 year-old before working at commercial outlets and the ABC.
O'Shea became part of ABC Gouburn Murray in 2011 after, like Thomsen, having worked for Aunty in South Australia.
She produced breakfast and morning shows and also filled in on-air as a host.
Fellow presenter Warwick Long paid tribute to the pair.
"Sad to see a combined 33 years of ABC broadcasting go," Long tweeted.
"Both brilliant and committed people with great connections to the local community.
"It will be a very different place without them."
The exit of Thomsen and O'Shea are part of a wave of redundancies being made by the ABC, with other television and radio identities departing in recent weeks.
