But one thing they all share is a love of the sport.
Brothers Lincoln, Hamish and William all play for the Magpies Hockey Club along with their dad, Stuart.
Sister Niamh is also a keen hockey player, while mum Sandra is their biggest supporter, making game day a family affair.
Despite not being all in the same team, the Morrisons are used to being on the same side when it comes to matches, but the modified Albury-Wodonga Hockey eight's competition now sees the family going head-to-head.
Hamish has so far had to play against both Lincoln and William, and while they admit it can get competitive between the siblings, they said it wasn't too strange.
"We kept it pretty nice," William said.
Stuart cherishes being able to play alongside his sons after watching them develop their skills over the years.
"They've all played with me at some point in seniors," Stuart said.
"It's great to be able to play with your kids and coach them along a little bit and watch them grow and develop.
ALSO IN SPORT:
"It's good for the family, we can all be at the hockey together and we train together.
"Playing all for the same club and supporting each other has been a really good experience.
"It's a really nice environment for us all to be a part of."
They all agree they're lucky to have the opportunity to play this year after the usual Hockey Albury-Wodonga season was derailed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent border closure.
The new-look competition can now only cater to those who reside north of the border.
"We're really happy to be out playing," Stuart said.
"This has really brought out the best in the hockey community with us all getting together.
"There's people who have come back who haven't played hockey for quite a few years and they're playing in the competition.
"We have some people who have never played hockey who are having a go because their normal season isn't running at all.
"It was going to be a pretty disappointing season, so thanks to all the hard work from the small committee to put this comp on.
"It's disappointing our Victorian counterparts can't take part as well."
As to who the best player is, the answer looks to be still up for debate.
"Niamh's probably the better one," William said.
"We're all at different stages," Hamish said.
"It's getting harder to keep up with them," Stuart said.
