The minor premier made the most of some poor goalkicking by the Lions to earn a shot at Wagga Tigers in the decider.
Christin Macri's side kicked a disastrous 4.15 in the opening three quarters before falling away badly in the final term against the Cooper Sharman-inspired Crows.
"You have to take your opportunities, and we couldn't do it," Macri said.
"I was quite confident we could keep going (at three quarter time) but we lost that momentum, then you lose that hope of winning and the margin blows out."
Sharman finished with three goals for Leeton-Whitton while highly-rated duo Lucas Meline and Jeromy Lucas dominated further afield.
Former Holbrook wingman Curtis Steele was Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong's best.
He started the match superbly and, along with Sam Murray and Matt Neagle, refused to wave the white flag against a wave of Crow attacks.
Coolamon recruit Liam Delahunty was effective on senior debut for the Lions with two goals but failed to capitalise on his chances with four points in the third term.
Big Riley Corbett struggled to make an impact in his return from injury which was a major blow to the side's chances with Nick Murray sidelined with a broken collarbone.
Leeton-Whitton backman Jono Spina was solid deep in defence with the former Lavington player expected to benefit from the run after missing most of the season with hamstring problems.
Coach Daniel Muir said he spoke to his charges about making their chance count next week after a number of quality locals returned to the club when higher level leagues were cancelled due to COVID-19.
"We spoke about it before that the 22 playing today, it's potentially going to be our last game together (next week)," Muir said.
"The guys playing at a higher level are always going to go back and play there, it's a chance for everyone to create some history for the town.
"Cooper Sharman and Coopa Steele were great and stood up in big moments. I was pleased for those two boys. Who knows (what they can do), the world's their oyster but we're just focused on next week now."
MCUE comfortably defeated the Lions in the reserves and Osborne upstaged Turvey Park by 36 points in the under 17.5s.
Luke Fellows, Jeremy Piercy, Rhys Pretious and Ryley Watson were best for the Ostriches.
