While across on the netball courts, Thurgoona and Kiewa Sandy-Creek were in a heated battle for the flag.
On the footy field, the Bulldogs smashed the Tigers with a 71-point win in the decider.
The Tigers were just five-points behind at half-time, but the Bulldogs dominated the second half winning 21.7 (133) to 9.8 (62).
At the time coach Brett Doswell was ecstatic to land a flag in his first season in charge of the Bulldogs.
"The third quarter is called the premiership quarter for a reason," Doswell said.

"Barnawartha were right in the contest in the first half.
"But a lot of our leaders stepped-up in that third quarter and put some physical pressure on in the centre.
"We were able to get a lot more ball forward and our forwards capitalised."
In the A-grade netball, Kiewa Sandy-Creek were the dominate force winning by four goals after maintaining the lead for the entire game.

It made up for some the heartbreak they felt after going down in the 2018 decider against Tallangatta.
Kiewa Sandy-Creek midcourt player Abbey O'Brien was crowned best on court for her efforts, with the game later becoming her last after announcing her retirement.
"It's always nice being on this end on grand final day," O'Brien said on the day.
"We've worked really hard all season and to top it off with a win is amazing."
In B-grade netball, Barnawartha were victorious, while Yackandandah took home the reserve premiership.
