After selling for $3,500, a handcrafted wooden crayfish lure has been dubbed "a bargain".

The unique collectors item took Kuttafurra Lures' Aaron Young years of on and off work to piece together from his Bundalong work shed, with the finished product attracting plenty of attention from fishing lovers.
Mr Young placed the unique lure on a buy, swap and sell Facebook page where it was reeled in by a Cranbourne East resident at auction.
But Australia's most respected lure author and former NSW fisheries manager Frank Prokop said it could have easily fetched a higher price.
"It would be in the top half dozen lures in the world in my view," Mr Prokop said.
"I said in a post that if someone paid $5000 they shouldn't have buyer's remorse.
"I think it was a very good deal.
"It's perhaps the best lure I've ever seen."
While a select few have sold for $4000 in Australia, Mr Prokop said Mr Young's creation was likely the most expensive lure made by a living lure maker.
Real spikes from a cray shell line the creation, bringing it to life.
Mr Prokop said the lure's heritage value could have seen it find a home in a museum.
"The detail is astounding, it looks more real than the real thing," he said.
"I'm in awe of his talent.

It's the second time Mr Young has made such an intricate lure.
His first crayfish design saw him awarded lure of the year and the most artistic lure at the Australian Lure Expo in Queensland six years ago.
With the first lure still in Queensland and the second moving on, Mr Young admitted it can be hard to part.
"There's a lot of time in it," he said.
"And then you think it's time to make another one."
He's now been in the lure-making business for the past decade.
"I wasn't real serious with it for the first few years," he said.
"In the last six years I've taken it a bit more seriously."
However, he said the work didn't leave much time for him to need any lures himself.
"I don't get to fish like I used to years ago, but I don't mind, I'm in here doing this," he said.
