A man, 65, and a woman, 36, have been arrested and charged after allegedly hiding more than 30kg of cannabis in a ute with the intention of distributing it throughout Albury.

A second man, 52, has also been charged with drug-related offences.
The arrests come after police set up Strike Force Billarga in June to investigate the commercial supply of cannabis in the Albury region.
Last Thursday, investigators arrested a 52-year-old man in an Albury home at about 9am.
He was taken to Albury Police Station and charged with supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity, possess prohibited drug and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
The man was refused bail and appeared in Albury Local Court on Thursday September 10, where he was formally refused bail to appear in the same court on November 3.

Yesterday, police arrested a 36-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man at Albury Police Station.
The woman was charged with supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity, deal in property proceeds of crime and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
The man was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug - commercial quantity, deal in property proceeds of crime, knowingly direct activities of criminal group and possess prohibited drug.
Police allege the pair travelled to South Australia via the Northern Territory and Queensland to purchase large amounts of cannabis with the intention of distributing it in Albury.
It is alleged the pair repurposed a utility vehicle to conceal more than 30kg of cannabis from South Australia in panels inside the tray.
The vehicle was seized with the assistance of Victoria Police from a holding yard in Melbourne on 31 August 2020.
The pair were refused bail and are due to face Albury Local Court today.
