The club was excluded from competing in Group Nine over COVID-19 concerns, but had permission from the NSW Government as part of inter-community sport.
"We were really focused on the kids' mental well-being and physical health and we said early days we would push on and we got nothing but positive feedback from parents, thanking us for getting the season up and running for the kids," president Scott Harris said.
In a 'normal' season, the club would have up to 600 players at North Albury's Sarvaas Park, but it had around half that this season, with 25 from Victoria not eligible to compete.

Thunder has 23 teams with a handful of age groups combining.
"We put the under 13 and under 14 boys together and we played the under 15 boys against the under 16 league tag girls and the girls really enjoyed playing against the boys," Harris said.
