Member for Albury Justin Clancy said Pleasant Hills in his electorate was being put forward to be included in the recently expanded border bubble.
South of the river, Kiewa Valley townships including Mount Beauty and Tawonga were also still being considered for inclusion and member for Murray Valley Tim McCurdy has been lobbying for the inclusion of Whitfield, Cheshunt, Bright, Smoko, Freeburgh and Harrietville.
The towns would all be school holiday drawcards if included.
