Albury-Wodonga's most comprehensive veterinary-care facility is situated on the corner of Wagga and Kaylock Road. Petfocus Vetcare moved into its current premises in October 2018. The move was inspired by the need for a large safe carparking area and a species segregated hospital. Local veterinarian and 2019 Albury-Wodonga's awarded business person of the year Dr Renee Pigdon is the sole owner of Petfocus Vetcare and has been caring for pets on the Border for the past 24 years. Separate dog, cat and exotic pets areas are the most outstanding feature of the premises with exclusive areas and entrances for dogs and cats coming directly off a massive front to premises 27-space private carpark. The purpose-built facility, which won the Albury-Wodonga Business award for Innovation in 2019, also boasts a Hydrotherapy centre with an underwater treadmill and will have a CT machine installed this year. Several specialists from all over the country utilise the Petfocus Vetcare facility to provide their services regularly.
