Year 12 students north of the border sat through their last lessons in classrooms this week with term three concluding in NSW on Friday.

It's been a rollercoaster year for HSC students learning in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, with many relieved to have the finish line now in sight.
"There's a lot of mixed emotions," year 12 Xavier High School student Hogan Quinn said.
"Everyone's really happy to be leaving, but everyone's going to miss people.

"There was a lot of uncertainty in the middle of the year as to whether we'd have a grad, and even day-to-day things, like not knowing whether we were going to go to school the next week.
"It's good to know we've gotten through it."
Students will now prepare for their final exams.
It was also the last day for year 11 students, who will return next term to commence their final year of studies.
Trinity Anglican College year 11 student Laxmi Sapkota said she was excited to move onto the next phase of school life.
"Year 12 will be a big year, but we're all up for the challenge I guess," she said.
