Rural City of Wangaratta chief executive Brendan McGrath said this was a small gesture aimed at helping those in the fitness industry get back on their feet.
"Since moving to Step 3 we've had strong enquiries from businesses looking to use our parks for organised exercise," he said.
"It's great to see people using our parks to get fit and enjoying some level of freedom."

While the fees have been waived businesses will still need to get a permit and have the appropriate insurances for outdoor exercise.
