"Yeah for sure, that's what it's all about now, I'm in the latter part of my career and I'll try and help develop the young kids, there's always been a good core of juniors coming through and I want to get back and help," he said.
The Bulldogs' junior represented the O and M in 2013 before starting a two-year stint with the Northern Blues in the VFL.
He tore his hamstring in the first year, but played consistent senior football in 2015.

A shoulder injury at Port Melbourne the following year derailed his stint and he travelled back from Melbourne to play with the Bulldogs in 2017.
The left-footer also played for the O and M that year in the win over Goulburn Valley.
The 30-year-old joined Southern League outfit Bentleigh the following season, but then suffered a dislocated shoulder in his first game for Benalla last year and missed 12 weeks.
"It was just a bit hard with travel, if I'd been living in Wodonga, I would have been playing there," he offered.
Murray moved home 12 months ago and started his own plumbing business.
"I've always loved Wodonga," he said.
"The supporters are loyal and there's good people at the core of the club, there always has been, I think the community there is the best thing, plus I've got a few good mates still at the club."
Murray is stuck on 99 games.
Meanwhile, the club has signed young forward Harry McKimmie and Joe Stefani (Dunnstown), Mitch Dinneen (Yackandandah) and Mitch McLean (Tallangatta).
