Ms Bensley will be among a host of local designers showcasing their work in the GO Fashion Show in Albury this weekend.
She admitted it's been a testing year for the fashion industry.
"This has been wonderful to look forward to and to work on my new spring-summer range," she said.
"It's been quite good to concentrate on new designs."
This will be Wodonga Style Supply Co owner Amanda Kotzur's first show.
Mrs Kotzur will open her High Street shopfront next month, after transforming an old Butcher shop.
"I thought it would be a great way to get the name out there," she said.

Albury designer Krystal Kaye agreed the annual show is a great platform for the region's small businesses.
"It's about connecting with the community," Miss Kaye said.
"My strong belief is that fashion is wearable art. That's what people should be looking at fashion as, not what's hot and what's not.
"As a designer and a dressmaker, that's how I see fashion."
Mercure Albury manager Meggan Gardner attended the event last year and was amazed by the variety.
"For someone who was so used to London fashion, to see it in Albury-Wodonga was incredible," Ms Gardner said.
"It's incredible the fashion that comes out regionally."
Albury's Spice clothing owner Dora Kouvelis said you can expect to see vibrant designs this summer.
"Bright colours, pastels, touches of yellow, there's always navy and emerald green is still going strong this year," Ms Kouvelis said.
Tickets have already sold out for Sunday's event at Albury's SS&A.
"We've reduced the numbers significantly this year due to restrictions, but I'm just grateful that we are able to make it happen," GO Local media director Bernadette Torresan said.
"It's been a long, stressful and disappointing year in the publishing and events industry and this has given me and my team a purpose again."
