The 2019 Azzi Medallist will be an assistant to Kade Stevens, who has committed to another season as coach of the Saints.
Seiter had been linked with Ovens and King club Bright with good friend Paul Harrison taking on the top job next year.
Stevens said the club is thrilled to have Seiter as part of the coaching group.

"He's definitely got a lot of leadership qualities and I'm really happy he's put his hand up to do it," Stevens said.
"He's got a lot to offer and I think the whole group will be excited as I am to have him step up and pass his knowledge on a little bit more.
"He's going to be really good. He's got great ideas and the boys will get around that too."
Stevens said the door was open to welcome a new coach from outside the club, but he was more than happy to go around again.
It will be his fifth year at Brock-Burrum and fourth as coach given the cancellation of the 2020 season.
He said it was a relatively straightforward decision in the end and comes with some unfinished business after falling to Osborne in the 2019 grand final.
"The season obviously didn't go ahead which was frustrating and it also didn't end the way we would have liked it to last year," Stevens said.
"A year off has opened up the eyes of a lot of footballers and what else they can do other than footy, but I think it's made people realise how much they love the game.
"We've got nearly all players recommitted and we're hoping we can pick up a couple to top up our list."
Stevens said the playing group is keen to get together now, particularly those living on the Victorian side of the border who have been isolated for large parts of the year.
"We'll hook into a few training sessions pre-Christmas and get a bit of a base of fitness up before rolling out properly for 2021," he added.
