The alleged victim on Wednesday told the Wodonga Magistrates Court the man with the gun had aimed it at him, and asked the others if he should shoot him.
He said threats had been made against his family and he saw the gun three or four times, and he broke down while giving evidence as he recalled being struck "upwards of 30 times".
Kieran Heather, Grant Quigley, Jayden Flower and Michael Deslandes were allegedly involved in the incident.
Deslandes' home on Jevington Drive was burgled late on December 9 or early December 10 last year.
The teenager admitted in court on Wednesday to breaking into the home with his then partner and taking items, but denied he had taken Deslandes' motorbikes.
He told the court he had been in the process of handing himself in to Wodonga police, following a Facebook post about the burglary, when told four men were looking for him.
"So I was told to go to Raiders, you know the football ground," he recalled in court.
It was there that he said one of the men, who he later knew as Kieran, showed him the gun.

"It was a lift-up of the shirt on Kieran's behalf," he said, noting he could see the handle of it and metal leading to the barrel.
When questioned on whether it was actually a gun, he said he was "100 per cent sure".
He was told that his mum, nan and himself would be shot, he said.
"That was right before I ran off," he said.
When asked if he was angry and upset at that point, he replied "more like scared s---less."
It's alleged he was taken out in bushland and hit with heated poles, and kicked and punched.
He said he'd had the gun pointed at him from five or 10 metres away, with the gunman asking the others if he should shoot him.
The teenager said on another occasion "it was held up to the back of my head, on the left side", and he said a rope had been brought out to put on a tow ball to drag him.
The alleged victim had to take a break while giving evidence as he began crying.
Heather's lawyer John Desmond, who questioned the alleged victim at length, said "his credibility is being challenged."
A committal, which will see if there's enough evidence for charges to go to trial, will continue with police and civilian witnesses on Thursday.
