The chances of COVID-19 restrictions being eased on Sunday have been boosted with the state recording just two new cases of coronavirus and zero deaths in the last 24 hours.

For the third straight day cases numbers have been in single figures with six on Thursday and seven on Wednesday.
It is the lowest daily case number since early June when zero infections were recorded.
The new cases are not connected to Shepparton where a testing a blitz has been underway since three cases were detected in the city earlier in the week.
More than 3000 tests were carried out in the Greater Shepparton area on Thursday.
Melbourne's 14-day average of new cases has fallen to 8.7 while in regional Victoria it remains at 0.6.
Mystery case numbers sit at 17 and are all in Melbourne.
There are seven active cases in regional Victoria including the same three from Shepparton reported earlier this week.
Premier Daniel Andrews acknowledged those who have waited for lengthy periods outside testing sites.
"The last thing we want we want to do is have infections while people are in process of getting tested," he said.
As for restrictions easing on Sunday: "The strategy is working.
"Decisions will be finalised in many meetings over next days.
"We haven't listened to the loudest voices.
"We haven't lost our nerve. We as a community are staying the course."
Thirteen test sites are operating in the Goulburn Valley with assistance from North-East and Albury-Wodonga health services and ADF personnel.
The number of days since the last recorded case is 92 which was around the same time the decision was made to close the NSW-Victoria border.
NSW recorded one new case of locally acquired COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
