One new case was recorded in the past 24 hours and no further deaths, dropping the 14-day rolling average in metropolitan Melbourne from 8.7 to 8.1, while regional Victoria has gone from 0.6 to 0.5.
Just two new cases were reported on Friday, following six on Thursday.
