The new publicans, Adam and Lindy St John, will finally be able to welcome the community into the rural pub after serving their 14 days' quarantine period inside the hotel after moving up from Melbourne.
"It is actually great timing for us to be opening on grand final weekend," Mr St John told The Border Mail.
"We have used the two weeks in isolation to really do-up the place, including new paint throughout the front bar and cleaning up the outdoor beer garden.

"We open from 10am and we have had calls from locals saying they will be there waiting.
"The community has been so supportive and we just can't wait now."
The couple have employed six locals to staff the hotel, including three young people who were previously employed at the pub.
Bookings are already filling up fast, with 70 people booked in for Saturday night.
