Hockey Albury-Wodonga capped a successful eights season last Friday night with the presentation of the premier team trophies at Albury's Commercial Club.
After abandoning the regular home and away season in July because of COVID-19, the Border hockey association was flooded with interest to get some form of competition off the ground in 2020 and launched the modified eights format in August.
Eights weeks of competitive hockey took place with clubs and players on the NSW side of the border split into teams to contest premier men's and women's seasons.
