Dederang police are calling for more information to help solve the attack which left a Glen Creek family mourning their family pet.
"On November 11, it will have been 12 months since a Glen Creek family lost their dog in terrible circumstances," a police statement said.
"On that day, an unknown person has gotten out of his vehicle and viciously attached the victim's pet dog.
"There is no known provocation for the attack.
"The dog was young and very friendly.
"The family remain devastated by the loss.

"Local police have interviewed many people regarding this incident."
Police said while a person of interest has been identified, there is insufficient evidence to proceed.
"Dederang police would ask the community to reflect on how they would feel if this happened to their family pet," the statement said.
"It is believed a male described as tall, thin, wearing a black hoodie and black track pants driving a blue hatchback car may be able to help with information."
