Rovers United Bruck will host premiers Yarrawonga Mulwala at the WJ Findlay Oval in Wangaratta in a T20 clash from 11.30am.
The first four rounds will be played in the game's shortest version with another to follow on Sunday, November 29.
The grand final will then be held in mid-December.
"For the first time, we will host the A grade match under lights, with the A reserve played as the curtain-raiser," WDCA president Michael Hurley said of the games at the Norm Minns Oval (Wangaratta Showgrounds).
"We're excited by that and we're hoping to create a carnival atmosphere, make a day out of it.
