Houlihan has been granted government clearance to travel to Saudi Arabia.

"The Dakar Rally is already one of the toughest events in the world, but it's been a very different build up to the 2021 event while dealing with situations we have never seen before in the world," he said.
He's one of four Australian riders in next year's event from January 3 to 15.
