The future of Bandiana Primary School has been secured until at least the end of 2025.

In a new deal done by the education department and the Australian Department of Defence the school was able to extend their lease until the December of that year, meaning four more school years have been confirmed on the site.
Principal Donna Wright said while they were confident arrangements were going to be made, the news they have five more years came as a "relief".
"We are very excited we now have surety," she said.
"We really expect now that it will work out pending a new school in Wodonga.
"And if that doesn't happen in 2025 we expect the government will continue to support us.
"We never thought we were going to be left in the lurch."
Ms Wright said the school have had a lease arrangement for more than 50 years.

"There is a number of lease renewals that have happened in the past so we are just pleased this one has gone through as well," she said.
The school has 300 students and 25 staff members.
School president Sarah White said they are "very pleased" to share thenews with the wider community.
"We would like to reassure all current and prospective families the school council will continue to liaise with the Department of Education regarding the ongoing success of Bandiana Primary School," she said.
"Whether that is on the current site or at a new location.
"The school council will not endorse a school closure now or in the foreseeable future.
"I have every confidence the respective governments will support the continued success of Bandiana Primary School in providing excellent education opportunities to the wider community.
"We are a proud school community and are well-positioned to continue to provide excellent opportunities for the children into the future."
