RELIGIOUS services, gyms and indoor pools will return this week across Ballarat with Premier Daniel Andrews announcing changes to restrictions this morning.

From 11.59pm on Tuesday evening, indoor pools will be able to return with up to 20 people able to use the pool at the time.
Religious gatherings will also be able to have up to 20 people indoors, plus a faith leader, while outdoor services can increase to 50 people. Outdoor funerals will be allowed up to 50 people to attend.
Gyms and fitness studios will also return with a maximum of 20 people, or one person per eight square metres.
Indoor sport for 18 and under will also return.
Food courts can open. Live music can resume as part of outdoor hospitality while school graduations can be held within school communities.

However, the news isn't as good for Melbourne residents, who will face at least one or two more days of lockdown, given there are seven new cases which have been confirmed over the past 24 hours.
These cases are linked to the northern suburbs outbreak. There are now 39 people affected in the northern suburb outbreak.
"In the last 24 hours, over 3000 Victorians from our northern suburbs did a profoundly powerful thing and got tested," Mr Andrews said..
"We have around 1000 swabs currently being processed - and we're expecting even more today.
"We'll use the next couple of days to review those results and understand exactly how this virus is travelling.
"Put simply: this is a couple of extra days that might put us weeks ahead of this virus. To not only get on top of this outbreak - but to stamp it out."
