The family business launched by Melinda and Sebastian Nedziak in Yackandandah in 2016 has expanded to Bright, Beechworth and now the twin cities.
"This is our fourth and final store," Mrs Nedziak told The Border Mail.
"It's close enough to be able to get the pies comfortably from our Yackandandah store, which is where everything is produced, but also with enough people to warrant us having our own outlet.
"Not everyone can make that trip out to Yack - we thought Wodonga would be a great spot."
Mrs Nedziak said the border closure had influenced their decision to lease one of the lookalike train carriages in the Junction Place precinct.
"We're very excited about that, it's a little takeaway outlet," she said.
"After the border closure and everything that's gone on, we realised just how vast our customer base is in Albury-Wodonga.
"We thought, now was the best time.
"The minute we saw them [the carriages] we fell in love with them, it's a great spot and the carriages themselves are very unique."
Mrs Nedziak said staffing arrangements were coming into place and they hoped to open the store "very soon".
"All of the construction's being done on the inside to get us in, so we're hoping within the month we'll be open, if everything goes to plan," she said.
