Byrne came sixth in the 2-kilometre time trial in a time of 6 min, 46 seconds at the NSW-ACT combine while Bedendo finished third in the 20-metre sprint at Bendigo.
The young Saint also finished in the top three in the running vertical jump.
"Dom and Charlie have really worked hard in the down period," Murray Bushrangers' talent manager Mick Wilson said.
"It's testament to their attitude that they have improved dramatically since pre-season without playing any footy.
"To come out in the top percentages of the results is a fantastic achievement by Dom and Charlie.
"It puts them front and centre in the thoughts of the recruiters."
Talented Shepparton youngster Zavier Maher was also invited to the Victorian draft combine.
Wodonga's Elijah Hollands was forced to sit out the combine as he recovers from a knee reconstruction but is being touted as a first round selection.
He is making good progress in his comeback and is believed to have spoken to most AFL clubs.
