Bradley Adam Triffitt appeared before Wagga Local Court via video link on Wednesday and was refused bail by Magistrate Christopher Halburd. No pleas have been entered as of yet.

The 30-year-old was charged with driving recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous (second offence), and police pursuit - not stop - drive at speed (second offence).

Mr Triffitt is also charged with driving a motor vehicle during a disqualification period (second offence) and unlawfully possessing something resembling a number plate, as well as with breaching his bail.

The accused is due to appear before Wagga Local Court again on November 18 in relation to these matters.

A statement released by NSW police said at about 11.30am on Tuesday, Riverina Highway Patrol officers received information that a black motorcycle was detected allegedly travelling at 205km/h on the Hume Highway, and then the Olympic Highway at Table Top.

Police initiated a pursuit of the motorcycle rider which was then terminated soon afterwards due to safety concerns.

The motorcycle was found abandoned by officers a short time later in Wagga.

The statement added that a search of the area with the assistance of the dog unit located a 30-year-old who was arrested and taken to Wagga Police Station.

Police will allege that Mr Triffitt did not hold a motorcycle licence, and his NSW class C provisional drivers licence is disqualified until March 3, 2022, after he was previously involved in a pursuit with police.
