A committee was formed following the forum, with Corowa-Rutherglen's head coach Georgie Bruce named president.
The Association is now calling on players to trial for the new under-11, 13, 15 and 17 teams.
Bruce said she was excited by the level of interest expressed.
"We had great representatives at the forum and we've been able to form a strong committee," Bruce said.
"We're confident we can get it up and running, now we just need players."
Two trial sessions will run in Corowa this month on Wednesday 18 and 25.
ALSO IN SPORT:
The one-hour sessions will see 11 and 13 commence at 4:30pm and 15 and 17 at 5:30pm.
Anyone is welcome to trial and players are asked to wear plain sporting attire.
Once teams are established, training will begin on Wednesdays for players to contest four tournaments between February and June.
"The representative teams don't interfere or pull players away from club netball, it's an additional opportunity," Bruce said.
"There's now an opportunity for local players, as well as those who haven't played rep before, to represent a local team."
Players do not to have to be playing club netball to trial for selection.
Coaches are yet to be announced for the squads.
Players can register their interest in the trials via the Corowa and District Netball Association Facebook page.
