Tim McCurdy has become the latest North East politician to call for an end to the mandatory mask rule in regional Victoria.

He made his plea while speaking in Parliament on Tuesday.
"Many people in the Ovens Valley continue to ask 'when will the masks be removed?'," he said.
"In some regions there have been no COVID cases, in other areas minimal cases.
"People are tired of being treated like little children.
"There are times that masks should be worn, like supermarkets, public transport, Bunnings and other confined shops."

The MP said mask should not be mandatory when going for a walk in the park or filling a car with petrol.
"Trades will this summer struggle to work effectively if the mandatory masks continue," Mr McCurdy said.
The comments come as pleas are being made for a border bubble to cover mask-wearing, so the rules in Albury and Wodonga are identical.
Tourism Minister Martin Pakula also told Parliament that the North East would be included in the "stay close, go further" campaign aimed at encouraging Melburnians to travel to regional areas after a tough 2020.
"The TV commercials showcase our makers and our creators in some of the regions hardest hit by the summer bushfires and the coronavirus pandemic, including Gippsland and the High Country," he said.
