Zarlie Goldsworthy, Zali Spencer and Abby Favell, among others, will start the program this month.
The academy mirrors the male program that has been in place for almost a decade across western Sydney, the ACT and southern NSW.
It will build on the previous female talent development programs run by AFL NSW-ACT and the Regional Academy of Sports.
"This is a significant development for the GIANTS with a clear pathway established for both male and female athletes from grassroots through to the elite level," Giants Head of Academies Jason Saddington said.
