The railway porter cottages on Young Street were auctioned separately, with the first fetching a bid of $510,000, while no offers came for the second.
Agent and auctioneer William Bonnici, of Bonnici and Associates First National, said negotiations will continue to get a result.

"We had a couple of people who couldn't bid today and couldn't make auction terms," he said.
"They needed finance clauses and so on, which is often the case, so we'll work with those."
Mr Bonnici revealed his office has taken offers for 13 properties from Melbourne buyers this month and expects them to "arrive en masse" when the NSW border opens on November 23.
