Two former Wodonga butcher shops have been given the chop and been replaced by businesses keen to play a part in the city's post COVID fightback. Amanda Kotzur opens Style Supply Co on Saturday in the original Jensen's butchery and Erin Aylmore has already opened her beauty salon, SKIN Wodonga, in the former Beazley's Meats shop. Both shops have sat idle for extended periods, but the two newcomers to central Wodonga plan to be in for the long haul. "We bought the shop 12 months ago so it will be nice to open the doors," Ms Kotzur said. "My business actually improved through COVID because people were at home and looking for things online to buy. "But I've cancelled the online store now I've got the bricks and mortar." Her main product lines include women's and children's clothing and accessories and recently added corporate gift boxes to her offering. SKIN Wodonga will offer a range of beauty treatments including cosmetic injectables, skin treatments such as peels and facials.
