A septuagenarian has been been freed after becoming trapped under 200-kilogram spray tanks near Griffith.

Emergency crews have managed to remove the man from underneath the tanks, which were attached to a tractor.
"Paramedics were called at 11.45am to Myall Park to reports of a man trapped underneath spray tanks," an Ambulance NSW spokesman confirmed.
A State Emergency Service team worked to free the man, believed to be aged 78, after both legs became trapped by the farm equipment.

Paramedics were treating the man, who was conscious and alert, at the scene for injuries to his leg - which is possibly fractured - and swelling to the ankle.
He is being taken to Griffith Base Hospital for further treatment.
