The Ron Stubbs-trained Spunlago among finalists in SDRA Horse of the Year title

ALBURY Gold Cup winner Spunlago is among the finalists for the 2019-20 Southern District Racing Association (SDRA) Horse of the Year honour.
The Ron Stubbs-trained gelding won the title last year but faces some stiff opposition if he is to defend his crown.
Hardest to beat could be the Geoff Duryea-trained Front Page who stamped himself as a future star after winning in listed company at Flemington.
The Mitch Beer-trained Sky Call and Princess Cordelia alongside the Trevor Sutherland-trained Jungle Book are also vying for the honour.
The award winner will be announced at the Murrumbidgee Turf Club on Wednesday night.
