Garage Sale Trail, the recovery edition, offers online and physical events to encourage participation in line with COVID-19 restrictions.
The annual trail began in Sydney a decade ago and last year involved more than 400,000 people at 18,000 garage sales nationwide.
Albury's Brenda Kausche, who will host a Miller Street sale both Saturday and Sunday, says complying with 2020 conditions shouldn't be too difficult.
"It's part of what we do now, we've got to be aware of these things and most people have common sense," she said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Ms Kausche will have posters, sanitiser, smaller items in sealed bags and encourage social distancing.
Her sale will offer many of the toys and books her now-adult sons have outgrown, clothes, costumes and wigs.
"I think it's a good thing to be doing, repurposing and recycling, I hope people get out," she said.
